Over a dozen homes in south Warren County suffered damage caused by an EF-2 tornado.

Late Monday night, at least 15 homes in and around Alvaton sustained minor to significant damage caused by the twister, which packed winds between 113 and 157 miles per hour. Several barns and vehicles were damaged as well.

Multiple trees were uprooted, and at the height of the storm about 4,500 homes were left without power. Media outlets report that a horse trailer was picked up and moved about 75 yards by the tornado, and a back porch was ripped off an Alvaton home.

There have been no reports of injuries to people or livestock in the area, about 10 miles southeast of Bowling Green.

A National Weather Service damage assessment team toured the area on Tuesday.
