The search for the person missing since Friday night after jumping off a walking bridge in Bowling Green was suspended Sunday afternoon because of inclement weather.
Multiple fire departments, emergency management, rescue teams and law enforcement have been looking for one of two people who twice jumped off the College Street walking bridge spanning Barren River, according to media reports. One of the two jumpers did not emerge from the water after the pair’s second jump.
Rescue teams have had as many as five boats in the water at a time searching for the person, many with sonar capabilities.
