Edmonson Co. traffic stop leads to drug trafficking arrests

A traffic stop in Edmonson County led to the arrest of two suspects on felony drug charges.

Sunday night at approximately 6:00, the Edmonson County Sheriff’s Office executed a traffic stop in the 3500 block of Chalybeate Road on a 1997 Dodge Dakota, being driven by 19-year-old Seth D. Harrod, of Bowling Green, according to media reports.

Upon making contact with Harrod and his passenger, 20-year-old Tiffany F. Glass, of Smiths Grove, police observed drug paraphernalia in plain view. During a search of the truck, deputies located several bags of methamphetamine, pills and marijuana, along with cash and scales.

The suspects were arrested and charged with trafficking in a controlled substance (methamphetamine), possession of a controlled substance, trafficking in marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.

They were lodged in the Hart County Jail on $5,000 cash bonds.
