A nearly 10-month sexual abuse investigation by the Ohio County Sheriff’s Office has resulted in the arrest of a Greenville man on incest, rape and sodomy charges.
According to Ohio County Sheriff Tracy Beatty, “a thorough investigation” found that 52-year-old Doren Renfrow “abused a relative of his on more than one occasion.”
Beatty continued, saying, “The incest involved an individual who was not capable of consent.”
The case was presented to the Ohio County Grand Jury who returned indictments against Renfrow for four counts of incest (forcible compulsion/incapable of consent with the victim younger than 18), first-degree rape, first-degree sodomy, and first-degree sexual abuse.
Renfrow was arrested in Muhlenberg County and has since been lodged in the Ohio County Detention Center on a $100,000 cash bond.
