Gibson Road in Falls of Rough will be closed beginning Thursday morning at 8:00 a.m. and will remain closed for about three weeks.
The Grayson County Road Department will replace a “low-level water crossing with a concrete box culvert,” according to Judge-Executive Kevin Henderson. He added that how long it takes to complete the work depends “on the weather,” as he asked for patience from the motoring public.
“For the residents in this area the closure is closer to the HWY 79 side that intersects with Lahue Cemetery Road,” Henderson said.
Officials ask that people make plans to avoid the area while construction is taking place.
