One of Grayson County’s Most Wanted men has been captured.

On Wednesday afternoon at approximately 1:45, Grayson County Sheriff Norman Chaffins and Leitchfield PD Detective Kevin Smith arrived at a residence in the 8600 block of Shrewsbury Road to serve an indictment warrant on 33-year-old William Agrinsoni, of Leitchfield.

Upon arriving at the mobile home and attempting to make contact with the suspect, Agrinsoni, a convicted felon, attempted to flee out the back door with a cell phone in hand, but he was met by Chaffins, who drew his firearm, causing the suspect to retreat back into the home, according to the arrest citation.

Another person, not identified by police, then ran out the same door as Agrinsoni and was being held down on the front porch by Chaffins and Smith when Agrinsoni again attempted to leave the residence, this time through a bathroom window. He was again met by Chaffins who dragged him out of the window and placed him into custody, the citation says.

A bag of marijuana fell out of the suspect’s pants as he was dragged from the window.

Agrinsoni was served with indictment warrants for trafficking in a controlled substance (methamphetamine), two counts of possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine, opiates), being a persistent felony offender, possession of drug paraphernalia, and trafficking in marijuana. He was additionally charged with possession of marijuana.

He was lodged in the Grayson County Detention Center.

Agrinsoni is at least the second of Grayson County’s 12 Most Wanted captured after 37-year-old Justin R. Nance, who was wanted for trafficking in a controlled substance (methamphetamine) and being a persistent felony offender, turned himself into Deputy Erik Franklin only a few days after the sheriff’s office released the most wanted list in mid-October.
