BOIL WATER ADVISORY issued for section of Caneyville lifted

The BOIL WATER ADVISORY issued for a section of Caneyville on Friday has been lifted.

The Caneyville Water Department says the affected area was from 404 E Maple including 687 Blue Creek Road, Hwy 79N to 2253 Falls of Rough Road, and Hwy 79S to 414 Morgantown Street. The area included Center Street in Caneyville.

Several water samples were taken and tested by a state-certified drinking water laboratory and were free of contaminants. The Kentucky Division of Water has approved lifting the advisory.
