An Ohio County woman has been jailed on drug trafficking charges after police discovered a cache of drugs at her home.

Ohio County Sheriff Tracy Beatty said 35-year-old Lindsay R. Terry, of Hartford, has been charged with trafficking in a controlled substance (methamphetamine), three counts of possession of a controlled substance, unlawful possession of a methamphetamine precursor, prescription controlled substance not in its proper container, and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Terry was arrested following an investigation by the Ohio County Sheriff’s Office and Hartford Police Department after authorities received complaints about possible drug trafficking at Terry’s residence in the 1000 block of East Union Street.

“Upon further investigation, officers discovered individuals convicted of unrelated drug crimes routinely entered her apartment to purchase and/or use methamphetamine,” Beatty said. While surveilling the suspect’s home, police made contact with 41-year-old Crystal Hildebrand, of Hartford, who had just left Terry’s apartment.

Hildebrand was found to be in possession of methamphetamine and was also driving on a DUI suspended license.

Police then obtained and executed a search warrant at Terry’s apartment where authorities, including Kentucky State Police, found methamphetamine, hydrocodone, Gabapentin, pseudoephedrine, a firearm, digital scales, and other drug paraphernalia.

Both suspects are being held in the Ohio County Detention Center.
