Multiple law enforcement officials, search and rescue crews and fire departments from Grayson and Breckinridge counties are looking for a child that went missing in Falls of Rough Friday afternoon about 3:15.

The two-year-old girl was with her family when she disappeared at 55 Jenny Green Road, near the Greenleaf Mansion. The family was at the location for a wedding.

The area where the girl went missing is near a series of cabins, and a swiftly moving body of water, across a bridge from Grayson County in Breckinridge County.

After the water was lowered and the current eased, the Leitchfield Fire Department put a rescue boat in the water at about 6:15 but had no success.

Multiple dogs have been utilized and a thorough search in a high grass/densely wooded area has been undertaken, again, with no success locating the toddler.

Officials plan to put a Falls of Rough Fire Department diver in the water before it becomes dark.

K105 will have more information on this story as it becomes available.
