Police are looking for a Hart County Jail inmate who walked away from a work detail.
Kentucky State Police said that Friday morning at approximately 4:30, troopers were notified that 49-year-old Christopher Mazur, of Battle Creek, Michigan, walked away from a work detail at 100 Bluegrass Avenue in Horse Cave.
Mazur was arrested in July 2020 for trafficking in a controlled substance (methamphetamine) among other charges. He is a white male standing five feet, nine inches tall and weighing about 155 pounds.
Anyone with information on Mazur’s whereabouts is asked to contact Kentucky State Police at 270-782-2010.
