
A man has been killed in a fireworks accident in Christian County.
David Williams, 31, of Hopkinsville, was killed last week when he was “holding a large, mortar-type firework when he possibly began to lose his grip on it and it exploded between his hand and his head,” Hopkinsville Police Dept. Sgt. Tony Sierra told WHOP.com.
Williams was airlifted to Skyline Medical Center in Nashville he later died.
The accident occurred Wednesday night about 11:00 on Nelson Drive in Hopkinsville.
