An Upton man previously indicted for raping and sodomizing a girl younger than 12 for three years has again been indicted on molestation charges regarding another victim, along with the woman who facilitated the crimes.
Temmy Wise, 41, was indicted in May by a LaRue County Grand Jury for first-degree rape, first-degree sodomy and first-degree sexual abuse. The latest indictment involves a new victim and accuses Wise of first-degree rape, first-degree sodomy, first-degree sexual abuse and first- and second-degree unlawful transaction with a minor.
Carrie Harper, 38, of Upton, was indicted on the same charges, as well as endangering the welfare of a minor, for allowing Wise, who lived with Harper, to engage in sexual relations with at least two children living in the home, according to a report by The News-Enterprise.
The abuse occurred between 2017 and 2020, according to the newspaper.
Both suspects face decades in prison if convicted. They are being held in the LaRue County Detention Center, Wise on a $100,000 cash bond and Harper a $50,000 cash bond.
