The Breckinridge County Lady Tiger soccer team is a heavily senior-laden team. The Lady Tigers feature 11 seniors; not all of them start, but all of them play.
Tuesday evening in Harned, two seniors, Chloe Peterson and Sydney Tucker, scored all 10 goals in their 10-0 shutout of the Lady Cougars.
Peterson scored all four of her goals in the first half. Tucker had the other goal as the Lady Tigers led 5-0 at the half.
Then Tucker went wild in the second half, scoring five more times, the final goal coming with less than three minutes left in the game for a mercy-rule win.
Peterson scored the first three goals of the game to give her team a 3-0 lead in the 28th minute of play. Tucker scored in the 37th minute to make it 4-0, then Peterson added her final goal in the final minute of the half.
Tucker added goals in the 56th minute, the 65th minute, the 68th minute, the 69th minute and the 80th minute.
