The Grayson County Sheriff’s Office has announced September’s Most Wanted suspects.

Adam Lee Duggins, 25, who was originally on September’s Most Wanted list for fourth-degree assault, and service of emergency protective order, was arrested on September 5 and is lodged in the Grayson County Detention Center.

Grayson County Sheriff Norman Chaffins said his office needs the public’s help locating the following people considered Grayson County’s Most Wanted:

Joseph Lee Coin, 36 (featured in headline photo): Wanted for possession of handgun by a convicted felon, fleeing or evading police, first-degree wanton endangerment, and driving on a suspended/revoked operator’s license.

On the afternoon of April 5, Kentucky State Police requested the Grayson County Sheriff’s Office assistance after Coin fled from police in a Nissan Sentra as troopers attempted a traffic stop on northbound Hwy 79 between Caneyville and Short Creek.

The chase left Hwy 79 as Coin turned onto Pine Knob Road. Coin, after Pine Knob Road transitions into Young Road, left the 1300 block of Young Road, driving several hundred yards into a field before fleeing on foot into a densely wooded area.

Troopers gave chase as Grayson County Sheriff’s Office Lt. Sonny Poteet and then Sgt. Fred Norder quickly made their way to the scene.

Upon Norder arriving, he detained a female passenger who was in possession of two firearms. Norder and Poteet then assisted multiple troopers in searching a wide area for Coin, but to no avail.

Coin has been convicted on 11 charges in Edmonson, Butler and Warren counties since 2005. His convictions include: Possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, first-degree wanton endangerment, third-degree arson, first-degree burglary, third-degree burglary (two convictions), manufacturing methamphetamine, theft by unlawful taking (two convictions), possession of a controlled substance (drug unspecified), and possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine).

The Kentucky Department for Corrections notes that Coin has absconded from parole and is on probation until 2025.

Anthony Wayne Schatt, 35: Wanted for first-degree criminal abuse (child under 12), two counts of possession of a controlled substance (heroin, drug unspecified), being a persistent felony offender, DUI (aggravating circumstances), and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Deamon Ray Selby, 49: Wanted for failure to comply with the sex offender registration (convicted in Tennessee for sexual battery), second-degree burglary, third-degree assault, second-degree fleeing or evading police (on foot), resisting arrest, menacing, third-degree terroristic threatening, first-degree bail jumping, being a persistent felony offender, and alcohol intoxication in a public place.

Summer Lynn Elliott, 26 (featured in headline photo): Wanted for receiving stolen property (under $10,000), first-degree wanton endangerment, first-degree criminal mischief, two counts of fleeing or evading police (motor vehicle, on foot), and no driver’s license.

The incident that led to Elliott being wanted occurred Wednesday morning August 5, 2020, at approximately 9:00, when police attempted to conduct a traffic stop on a 2006 Hyundai in the 2300 block of Elizabethtown Road. The vehicle, being driven by Elliott, of Millwood, fled police.

The car fled at speeds in excess of 100 miles per hour, when officers made a decision to terminate the pursuit due to public safety and increased traffic congestion. The Hyundai, though, continued south on the William Thomason Byway where it failed to negotiate a curve. The vehicle left the roadway and traveled over an embankment, before coming to rest in a ditch near the intersection with South Main Street.

No one was injured in the crash, as Elliott exited the vehicle and fled on foot before officers were able to place her into custody.

Melanie Sue Miles, 34: Wanted for second-degree burglary and third-degree criminal mischief.

Lori Frances Lindsey, 33: Wanted for trafficking in a controlled substance, possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine), obscuring the identity of a machine, possession of marijuana, and DUI.

Scotty Lee Clemons, 44: Wanted for possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine), possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.
