Robin Sowders Skaggs, 54, of Caneyville passed away Tuesday September 21, 2021 at her home.
The Edmonson County native was a 1985 ECHS graduate, a homemaker, a member of VFW Post #1298 Auxiliary and a member of Poplar Springs United Baptist Church. She was a daughter of the late Tommy Sowders and Orene Hogan Sowders.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM Monday at Gravil Funeral Home with burial to follow in Poplar Springs Cemetery. Visitation will take place 1-8 PM Sunday and after 9:00 AM Monday.
Surviving are her husband, Glenn Skaggs; a son, Athel Thomas “A.T.” Roof (Ophia) of McHenry; two daughters, Megan Roof (Ricky) of Bowling Green and Jessica Lyle (James) of Glasgow; a sister, Lisa Ray (Timmy) of Roundhill; six grandchildren, Elizibeth Roof, Jase Lyle, Lily Lyle, John Carter York, Brayden Craig, Reagan Cobb and Addison Krohn; and a bonus grandchild, Bryce Gaves.
