A couple has been killed in a head-on collision in Hardin County.

Hardin County Sheriff John Ward told The News-Enterprise that Friday afternoon at approximately 4:30, deputies responded to the accident in the 2600 block of Hodgenville Road, near the Elizabethtown Country Club.

Upon arriving at the scene, police found that Jonathan and Tania Peddicord, of Hodgenville, were traveling east on Hodgenville Road when their vehicle collided head-on with a vehicle being driven by 38-year-old Sean Tolliver, of Elizabethtown. Both Peddicords perished in the crash.

A child in the Peddicord’s vehicle was airlifted to Norton Children’s Hospital, the newspaper reports. The child was listed in serious but stable condition.

Tolliver was transported to Baptist Health Hardin and treated and released.
