One man has been arrested and a stolen vehicle recovered in Falls of Rough.

Tuesday night at approximately 8:15, Grayson County Sheriff’s Office Sgt. Clay Boone and Deputy Erik Franklin along with a Kentucky Fish & Wildlife officer responded to the 13000 block of Falls of Rough Road after a resident reported a male approached his home asking for a gas can, as the man said he ran out of fuel and was parked on the side of the road nearby.

A verbal disagreement ensued between the two men, with the suspect, 31-year-old Jordan Dunn, of Huntington, Indiana, intimating with his body language that he had a gun in his waistband.

Dunn then left the property and began walking north.

Upon arriving at the scene, police made contact with Dunn on the side of the road. While investigating the incident, deputies discovered the Toyota passenger car Dunn was driving had been reported stolen. The car is registered out of Indiana.

Dunn was arrested and charged with receiving stolen property and lodged in the Grayson County Detention Center. No firearm was found.
