The western Kentucky toy drive organized by Kentucky First Lady Britainy Beshear has collected over 70,000 toys so far for families impacted by last weekend’s tornadoes.

The toy drive ends on Saturday.

The greatest remaining need, Beshear said, are $25 Visa/Mastercard gift cards and gifts for older children and teens such as electronics, athletic equipment, books, and art supplies.

Kentuckians can drop off unwrapped gifts at 20 sites across the state, including at Kentucky State Police Post 4 in Elizabethtown, located at 954 Cameron Ponder Drive.
