Tami Michelle Powell, age 62, of Leitchfield, KY, passed away Sunday, (February 20, 2022) at Owensboro Health Twin Lakes in Leitchfield.
She was born on February 20, 1960 in Louisville, KY, the daughter of the Ina McClure Willis and the late Morton Willis.
She was a librarian who enjoyed drinking coffee, spending time with friends and family, and watching UK Basketball.
She is survived by her daughters, Amanda Powell and Savannah Powell, both of Leitchfield; her mother, Ina McClure Willis; her significant other, James Blessitt; and her beloved dog, Foxxy.
She was preceded in death by father, Morton Willis; and her dog Roxxy.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Saturday (January 26, 2022) with cremation will follow. No formal funeral service will be held.
