AMBER ALERT for 2-year-old Louisville boy taken by man who shot, killed toddler’s mother

(UPDATE, Monday 12:31 a.m.: The toddler has been located, according to Kentucky State Police. The suspect remains at large.)

Police have issued an AMBER ALERT for a Louisville toddler.

The alert has been issued for two-year-old Caesan Gordon. He is believed to be with his father, 32-year-old Christopher L. Gordon Sr., who is accused of shooting and killing Caesan’s mother at approximately 4:00 Sunday afternoon in the 4100 block of Quiet Way, in the Newburg neighborhood of Louisville.

Gordon also allegedly shot the deceased woman’s 10-year-old son in the hand. He was transported to Norton Children’s Hospital.

Christopher Gordon is believed to be driving a maroon/red Ford F-150 truck with heavy front end damage. He stands about five feet, five inches tall and weighs 140 pounds.

Louisville police said Gordon has a violent history and is considered armed and dangerous.

Anyone with information on the Gordons’ whereabouts is asked to immediately contact local law enforcement.
