Human trafficking, prostitution investigation at Glasgow massage parlor results in one arrest

A human trafficking investigation at a Glasgow massage parlor resulted in one arrest as police ask for information on illegal activities at the business.

The Glasgow Police Department said that on Wednesday, after receiving “tips related to illegal human trafficking, promoting prostitution, (and) providing sexual services for compensation,” officers, Det. Guy Turcotte and the FBI executed a search warrant at Summer Spa Massage Parlor at 509C S L Rogers Wells Boulevard.

During a search of the business, police located over $22,000 in cash and arrested 32-year-old Jing Jing Zheng, of Glasgow, and charged her with promoting prostitution and practicing massage therapy without a license.

She was lodged in the Barren County Detention Center on a $5,000 cash bond.

Authorities asked that anyone with information on illegal activities at Summer Spa Massage Parlor to contact the Glasgow Police Department at 270-651-6165 or 270-651-5151.
