An Edmonson County woman has been killed in a single-vehicle crash in Warren County.
On Friday night at approximately 11:20, Warren County deputies responded to the wreck in the 2800 block of Hwy 185, near the intersection of Old Richardsville Road, and found a southbound GMC Sierra, being driven by 25-year-old Kodie Cardwell, of Bowling Green, had left the roadway and struck a tree.
A passenger, 43-year-old Gerri Romine, of Brownsville, and Cardwell were pronounced deceased at the scene, according to the Warren Co. Sheriff’s Office.
Three people were injured in the crash, including 52-year-old James Romine, of Brownsville, who, according to Gerri Romine’s obituary, was her husband, 39-year-old Patrick Anderson Sr., of Bowling Green, and a juvenile.
All three were transported to local hospitals.
“Wet road conditions and alcohol are suspected to be contributing factors” in the wreck, the Warren Co. Sheriff’s Office said.
