A Paducah man is facing over 100 child pornography counts following a Kentucky State Police investigation.

The Kentucky State Police Electronic Crime Branch arrested 33-year-old Zacharias S. Schlipf and charged him with 99 counts of possession of matter portraying a minor in a sexual performance under 12 years of age and four counts of distribution of matter portraying a minor in a sexual performance.

Schlipf was arrested after the KSP Electronic Crime Branch discovered the suspect sharing images of child exploitation online.

Police said the investigation resulted in the execution of a search warrant at Schlipf’s residence in Paducah where equipment used to facilitate the crime was seized and taken to KSP’s forensic laboratory.

Schlipf was lodged in the McCracken County Detention Center on a $50,000 cash bond.

The investigation is ongoing.
