The city of Leitchfield and Leitchfield Tourism will host the return of the East Main Market Concert Series on Friday night and all day Saturday.

Friday night beginning at 6:00, there will be a gospel concert featuring The Roarks, a Knoxville, Tennessee-based southern gospel group, and The Edwards Family.

Saturday beginning at 9:00 a.m., the East Main Market event will open with vendors, a farmer’s market and antique car cruise-in.

Skaggs Brisket food truck will be on site as well as Twin Lakes Ice Creamery, Barrel & Swine, Hill Billy Cajun, Wojo Mojo’s Grilled Cheese, and Juanito’s Street Tacos.

From noon until 3:00, Grayson County musician, 16-year-old Jordan Rae, will perform an acoustic concert. From 5:00 until 7:00 The Habit Band, a rock and dance music cover band from Louisville, will take the stage.

Following The Habit Band’s set, the evening’s headliner, rock/country singer Casey Jamerson, will perform a three-hour set.

Her biography says that, “Casey has proven to be an accomplished vocalist and entertainer, traveling all over the world performing in front of thousands. From an original cast member of the Broadway Show, “Bring It On: The Musical,” to starring in Spiegelworld‘s “Absinthe” Los Angeles, “Empire” Australia, and “Empire” Canada, to bringing the heat to her very own stages, Casey has the unique ability to control an audience leaving them screaming, ‘One More Song!’ Her high energy rock show has led her to be one of the most sought out performers in Music City!! ”

Both Friday night’s gospel concerts and Saturday’s shows are free and will be held on East Main Street in Leitchfield between The Cecilian Bank and the Jack Thomas House.

Mark your calendars, as the second Saturday of the month throughout the remainder of the spring, summer and fall will bring new groups to the East Main Market Concert Series, including the Wes Cook Band  on June 11 and the return of Papa Bear & The Love Den featuring Leitchfield native Stefon Miller on July 9.
