
The Grayson County Middle School track and field team finished strong at the KTCCCA state meet on Saturday afternoon.
Lane Beasley claimed 4th place in the state in the high jump with a mark of 5’6′.
Zach Pierce finished in 7th place in the pole vault with an impressive height of 9’0.”
Other competitors for GCMS included Daniel Ratley, Landon Lowery, Shane Hall, and Lane Beasley in the 4x800m and 4x400m. Teegan Piggott in the 100m dash, 200m dash, and discus. Hall also competed in the 800m run.
