A Caneyville man has been arrested following accusations he assaulted and sexually abused a victim.
James T. Ashby, 63, was arrested by the Grayson County Sheriff’s Office on a complaint warrant charging him with first-degree sexual abuse, second-degree assault, first-degree strangulation, and second-degree unlawful imprisonment.
The alleged offenses occurred in May of this year in Caneyville, according to the warrant.
No further information regarding the circumstances surrounding the charges is available at this time.
Ashby was lodged in the Grayson County Detention Center.
