Hardin Co. man arrested after allegedly strangling woman

A Hardin County man has been jailed after being accused of strangling a woman.

The Radcliff Police Department arrested 33-year-old Anthruis J. Campbell, of Radcliff, Wednesday morning, according to a report by The News-Enterprise, and charged him with first-degree strangulation and fourth-degree assault (domestic violence).

According to the newspaper, the arrest citation states that Campbell “strangled and assaulted a woman as he pulled her hair and pushed her to the ground.”

He is then accused of placing his hands around her throat, causing her to struggle to breathe.

Campbell was lodged in the Hardin County Detention Center. He is being held on a $25,000 cash bond.
