James Darrell Frank, age 72, of Leitchfield, KY, passed away Tuesday, (July 19, 2022) at his home in Leitchfield.
He was born on April 26, 1950 in Leitchfield, KY, the son of the late John E. and Imogene Probus Frank.
He managed Supertest for several years, worked construction and drove a semi. He enjoyed mowing with his Dixie Chopper and playing with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Laura Langdon Frank; a daughter, Beth Loyd (Richard); a son, Wes Frank (LeaAnn); three grandchildren, Breana Minton (Josh), Brandi Hodges (Braxton) and Paul Overton, plus three bonus grandchildren; two great-grandsons, Coleman & Cannon England with another on the way, plus seven great-grandchildren.
One of fourteen children, his siblings are Floyd Frank (Anna Rose) of Leitchfield, Ronald Frank (Mildred) of Leitchfield, Verna Evans of Russellville, Sheila Green (Mike) of Leitchfield, Billy Frank (Doris) of Hodgenville, Bobby Frank (Debbie) of Clarkson, Carolyn Hawks of Louisville, Earl Frank of Leitchfield, Eric Frank (Vonda) of Leitchfield, Patsy Wilkerson (Karl) of Clarkson, Linda Williams (Steve) of Clarkson, Marsha Young (Kevin) of Leitchfield and Danny Frank (Cyndi) of Leitchfield.
A special aunt, Ernestine Harp, and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and cousins also survive.
Other than his parents, he was preceded in death by his nephew, Brandon Frank.
Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, (July 26, 2022) at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield. Bro. Floyd Frank will be officiating. Burial will be in the Stones View Cemetery.
Visitation will be at the Dermitt Funeral Home from 1:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Monday and from 9:00 a.m. Tuesday until time of services.
