Robert Max “Bob” Vincent, age 74, of Clarkson, passed away, Monday, October 17, 2022, at Baptist Health Deaconess Hospital in Madisonville.
He was born September 19, 1948, in Clarkson, to the late Sarah Elizabeth Vincent.
He was an Army veteran during the Vietnam Conflict, retired from Core-Mark as a regional tech specialist and was a current member of the Clarkson City Council. He was a member of Mulberry Flats United Baptist Church; the director of the Little League Program for Clarkson Ball Park in the 1980’s and 90’s; a member of the Clarkson Lions Club and a diehard UK fan.
In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by a sister, Roberta Shultz and two brothers Karl Shultz and Charles Shultz.
Bob is survived by his wife, Caroline Hoover Vincent; a son, Nick Vincent (Stacy Pennington-Vincent) and three grandchildren, Alison Vincent, Josiah David Pennington and Adalynn Grace Vincent.
Funeral services will be held at 2 PM, Saturday, October 22, 2022, at Rogers-Oller Funeral Home with Bro. Arland Benningfield officiating. Burial will follow in the Clarkson Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 11 AM to 8 PM, Friday and after 9 AM, Saturday at the funeral home.
