A Bowling Green man accused of killing his daughter has been arrested.

Damian R. Bowden, 49, was arrested earlier this week in Nashville by the U.S. Marshals Service after a six week search, according to the Warren County Sheriff’s Office.

Bowden is accused of murdering his daughter, 30-year-old Daquanna Bowden, at his apartment at Payton Landing in the 6000 block of Scottsville Road on September 9. After killing his daughter, he fled the scene in her 2010 Volkswagon Tiguan.

The vehicle was found in Nashville on September 23.

Warren Co. Sheriff Brett Hightower previously said Damian Bowden has a history of violence and drug addiction.

The suspect was lodged in the Warren County Regional Jail where he’s been charged with murder, theft by unlawful taking, tampering with physical evidence, and abuse of a corpse.
