Grayson County Schools has announced the options for next year’s school calendar.
As the district traditionally does, parents are given three options for the 2023-24 school calendar. There are variations to the start and end dates of the school year, as well as when the Christmas break begins and ends.
The last day to make a selection is Friday, December 16.
A summary of the options can be found below:
Option A: Students’ First Day – August 9; Fall Break – October 2-6; Thanksgiving Break – November 22-24; Christmas Break – December 18-January 1; Spring Break – April 1-8; Students’ last day – May 23
Option B: Students’ First Day – August 9; Fall Break – October 2-6; Thanksgiving Break – November 22-24; Christmas Break – December 20-January 3 Spring Break – April 1-8; Students’ Last Day – May 23
Option C: Students’ First Day – August 2; Fall Break – October 2-6; Thanksgiving Break – November 22-24; Christmas Break – December 21-January 5; Spring Break – April 1-8; Students’ Last Day – May 16
