A former journalism teacher at duPont Manual High School in Louisville has pled guilty to child pornography charges after filming his girlfriend’s small child undressing.
James H. Miller, 50, agreed to a plea deal last week where he pled guilty to two counts of possessing matter portraying a sexual performance by a minor. He was initially charged with two counts of promoting a sexual performance by a minor (victim under 16) and two counts of possession of child pornography.
Prosecutors, according to WDRB.com, recommended either three years in prison or five years of probation.
Miller, between May and June of last year, recorded multiple videos of his girlfriend’s 10-year-old child undressing. The victim’s mother discovered the videos in December 2021.
Miller will be formally sentenced in January.
