An Ohio County teenager has been killed after being hit by a vehicle.
The Ohio County Sheriff’s Office said that on Wednesday night at approximately 8:00, deputies responded to a vehicle versus pedestrian accident in the 5100 block of Hawesville Road in Reynolds Station.
Police said 19-year-old Alex Walters, of Roseville, was walking on Hawesville Road when he was struck by a vehicle being driven by Lagena Coppage, of Fordsville.
Witnesses performed CPR on Walters until medical personnel arrived, but the victim was pronounced deceased at the scene by the Ohio County Coroner’s Office.
