
A Barren County has been arrested with over 50 grams of methamphetamine.
Monday night at approximately 7:20, the Barren River Drug Task Force and Barren County Sheriff’s Office responded to Oak Hill School Road, about five miles east of Glasgow, on a drug complaint.
Upon arriving at the residence, the task force said police made contact with James E. Scott, 44. Officers were given consent to search the home, with law enforcement locating 53 grams of methamphetamine (nearly two ounces), over $430 in cash, digital scales and other drug paraphernalia.
Scott was arrested and charged with trafficking in a controlled substance (methamphetamine) and possession of drug paraphernalia.
He was lodged in the Barren County Detention Center.
