
A Grayson County man has been seriously injured after hitting a deer while riding a motorcycle.
Monday night at approximately 6:20, Grayson County Sheriff’s Office Sgt. Erik Franklin, Deputy Wally Ritter, Constable Mark Stanton, the Leitchfield Fire Department, and EMS responded to the crash in the 1900 block of Anneta Road.
Upon arriving at the scene, first responders found that a Harley-Davidson motorcycle being driven by a Wax man south on Anneta Road had struck a deer. The impact tossed the rider off the bike. He was not wearing a helmet.
The victim was transported by EMS to Owensboro Health Twin Lakes Medical Center before being taken by EMS to a Louisville hospital suffering from multiple injuries.
