A Caldwell County man is facing nearly 30 child porn counts, according to Kentucky State Police.
Tommy Hall, 51, of Princeton, was arrested and charged with seven counts of distribution of matter portraying a minor in a sexual performance (victim under 12) and 20 counts of possession of matter portraying a minor in a sexual performance (victim under 12).
Hall, a felon, was arrested as the result of an undercover Internet Crimes Against Children investigation. The KSP Electronic Crime Branch began its inquiry after discovering Hall sharing images of child sexual exploitation online.
The investigation, police said, resulted in the service of a search warrant at a residence in Princeton on Monday where equipment used to facilitate the crime was seized and taken to KSP’s forensic laboratory.
The investigation is ongoing.
Hall was lodged in the Caldwell County Detention Center.
