Caneyville woman arrested on drug charge during traffic stop

A Caneyville woman has been arrested on a drug charge in Butler County.

Morgantown Police Chief Giles Taylor said 52-year-old Belvina S. Logsdon was pulled over for speeding, and “through (an) investigation it was determined that Logsdon was in possession of … methamphetamine.”

Logsdon was charged with possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine) and speeding (12 mph over the limit).

Police did not release further details.

She was lodged in the Butler County Jail but is no longer listed as an inmate.
