A Leitchfield man who once ran for county judge-executive has been indicted on drug charges.

Leitchfield Police Officer Chuck Hoover arrested 63-year-old Randall E. Fowler on Monday after he surrendered at the Grayson County Detention Center.

Fowler was indicted by a Grayson County Grand Jury for possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine), possession of a controlled substance (drug unspecified), possession of marijuana, and possession of drug paraphernalia.

He was lodged in the detention center but is no longer listed as an inmate.

Fowler ran unsuccessfully for judge-executive in 2018. He was arrested in February 2018, just a few months from the primary election, on a theft by deception charge arising out of Breckinridge County.
