A Shepherdsville woman has been charged in a fentanyl overdose that occurred in November 2022.
The Greater Hardin County Narcotics Task Force began conducting a death investigation late last year after an unidentified female fatally overdosed on fentanyl.
The investigation led law enforcement to charge 39-year-old Natalie N. Boston with second-degree manslaughter and trafficking in a controlled substance (fentanyl), after it was discovered that Boston provided the fentanyl to the woman who suffered the overdose, according to multiple media reports.
She was lodged in the Bullitt County Detention Center.
