Kentucky State Police is seeking information on the location of a sex offender convicted of sexually abusing a child.
Nathan E. Ham, 55, of Benton, was convicted in Marshall County of second-degree sexual abuse, with the victim five-years-old, according to the Kentucky State Police Sex Offender Registry.
He was released from the Pike County Detention Center in 2022 and registered an address in Marshall County with state police (he was being held in Pike County after being arrested for a parole violation in December 2021, according to online records).
“After attempting to verify his compliance, troopers determined that Ham had never lived at the address,” police said. His last known address is 441 Oscar Brown Lane in Benton.
Ham stands five feet, nine inches tall and weighs about 240 pounds. He has gray hair and blue eyes.
In addition to his sex abuse conviction, Ham was convicted in Marshall County in 2017 for trafficking in a controlled substance and third-degree assault. He was indicted in Marshall County in August 2018 for possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine).
Anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of Ham is asked to contact Kentucky State Police or your local law enforcement.
