Morgantown woman with history of drug arrests & convictions facing meth charge

A Morgantown woman with a history of drug arrests has been jailed on a methamphetamine charge.

Morgantown Police Chief Giles Taylor said that on Saturday officers executed a traffic stop on 38-year-old Lisa Huff (aka Lisa Huff-Dockery). During an investigation, police located methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia.

She was charged with possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine), driving on a DUI suspended license, possession of drug paraphernalia, no registration plates, no registration receipt, and failure to produce insurance card.

Huff was lodged in the Butler County Jail but is no longer listed as an inmate.

She was convicted in Butler County in June 2017 for attempt, manufacture methamphetamine and in February 2022 for possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine), according to the Kentucky Department of Corrections. Huff is on probation until June 2027.

She was arrested for possession of methamphetamine in Grayson County in March 2022. In June 2017, she was arrested in Butler County for manufacturing methamphetamine, and in January 2017 Huff was charged in Butler County with possession of methamphetamine, DUI and possession of drug paraphernalia. In 2016, she was arrested in Butler County for manufacturing methamphetamine.
