Kentucky State Police is investigating after human remains were found in Fleming County.
State police said troopers responded to 520 Fountain Avenue, in the heart of Flemingsburg, on Sunday and located human remains. The remains were sent to the state Medical Examiners’ Office in Frankfort for identification.
Police said foul play is not suspected.
The investigation is ongoing.
Flemingsburg is a town of approximately 3,000 residents in northeastern Kentucky.
