A Rowan County teenager who recently graduated from middle school has been shot and killed.
Jaxon Cole Keller, 14, died Saturday morning after being airlifted to University of Kentucky Albert B. Chandler Hospital, according to media reports.
The shooting occurred Saturday morning at a residence on Lakewood Drive in Morehead. The Rowan County Sheriff’s Office has not released information on the death, other than the teenager was shot.
Keller had just graduated from Rowan County Middle School.
The investigation is ongoing.
