A wanted Grayson County woman has been jailed after absconding from parole.
Last night at about 10:45, Grayson County Sgt. Erik Franklin and Deputy Tim Jackson developed information that 35-year-old Rachel F. Polston was at a Falls of Rough residence.
Polston was wanted out of Barren County for absconding from parole after she was convicted for possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine).
Police made contact with Polston at the Falls of Rough home and took her into custody without incident.
She was lodged in the Grayson County Detention Center as she awaits transport to Barren County.
Her drug conviction in Barren County appears to stem from an arrest by the Glasgow Police Department in October 2019.
She was charged with possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine), possession of drug paraphernalia and failure to produce an insurance card.
