A northern Kentucky man has been jailed for allegedly having a sexual relationship with a 14-year-old girl that resulted in the teen becoming pregnant.
Angelo Majoreta, 30, of Fort Mitchell, was indicted by a Kenton County Grand Jury on multiple counts of third-degree rape. He has since been arrested on that charge, as well as on an outstanding felony warrant, and is lodged in the Boone County Detention Center on two bonds totaling $150,000.
Majoreta and the juvenile met through Instagram, with court documents indicating the suspect knew the girl was 14 but he didn’t care, according to a report by Fox19.com.
The relationship took place between June and October 2022. Police used DNA to connect Majoreta to the girl.
The investigation began when the girl’s parents learned she was pregnant.
