Two people were injured when a vehicle flipped on Duff Road.

Friday afternoon at approximately 3:50, Grayson County Sgt. Jordan Jones, the Leitchfield Fire Department and EMS responded to the crash in the 2600 block of Duff Road.

Upon arriving at the scene, first responders found that a southbound Nissa Altima, being driven by Dalton Smith, of Grayson County, left the roadway and entered a ditch. The vehicle, after traveling about 100 feet in the ditch, struck culvert, sending the car airborne.

When the car landed, it flipped again before coming to rest on its top in the roadway.

In total, the vehicle traveled nearly 200 feet after leaving the road.

Smith and a male passenger were transported to Owensboro Health Twin Lakes Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries.
