Police in Bowling Green have identified the suspect accused of murdering a WKU student.
The Bowling Green Police Department said an arrest warrant was issued for 21-year-old Malik Jones after he allegedly gunned down 21-year-old Ayanna Morgan Sunday night about 10:00.
Morgan, who suffered two gunshot wounds, was transported to The Medical Center at Bowling Green before being airlifted to TriStar Skyline Medical Center in Nashville, Tennessee, where she died early Saturday morning.
The victim was from Savannah, Georgia.
Jones is considered armed and dangerous, police said, and if anyone encounters the suspect, do not approach but instead call 911 or the Bowling Green PD at 270-393-4000.
