Police searching Grayson Co. teen missing since early Thursday morning

Police are asking for help locating a missing Grayson County teenager.

Thursday morning at approximately 6:10, Grayson County Chief Deputy Sonny Poteet responded to a residence in the 300 block of Shrewsbury Road after 17-year-old Kristopher Terhune was discovered missing from the home. He was last seen at around 4:00 Thursday morning.

Kristopher is five feet, ten inches tall and weighs about 150 pounds. He has short brown hair, hazel eyes and he may have a goatee. When he was last seen, Kristopher was wearing a black shirt. He may have a backpack with him.

Grayson County Sheriff Norman Chaffins said he could be traveling to the Louisville area, or he may be with a person he met on social media.

UPDATE @ 5:40 p.m. Friday — Kristopher has been found safe. He was located “a couple of hours” after the Grayson County Sheriff’s Office issued a “press release to the media and made public,” Sheriff Norman Chaffins said.
