Police are investigating after someone shot a dog on Sunbeam Road.
Grayson County Sheriff Norman Chaffins, Sgt. Erik Franklin and Constable Mark Stanton responded Tuesday afternoon at approximately 5:40 to the incident at a residence in the 1300 block of Sunbeam Road.
Upon arriving at the scene, police found a resident’s dog had been shot by an unknown suspect.
The dog, which initially survived the gunshot wound, had to be put down.
