An Anneta man suffered injuries after leaving Anneta Road in a single-vehicle accident.
Wednesday afternoon at approximately 5:00, Grayson County Deputy Jordan Jones and Leitchfield Officer Ty Whitaker, the Leitchfield Fire Department and EMS responded to the wreck in the 1600 block of Anneta Road.
Upon arriving at the scene, first responders found a northbound Chevrolet 1500 briefly left the northbound lane before the driver, a 70-year-old Anneta man, overcorrected. The truck then crossed the southbound lane and left the road, traveled through a ditch and into a yard.
The driver was not wearing a seat belt and appeared to strike the windshield, as witnesses told police the driver was “bouncing around” inside the truck.
The driver was transported by EMS to Owensboro Health Twin Lakes Medical Center.
